Eric Meloling, owner of Meloling Construction Services, is a full service general residential contractor, with broad history and experience building small to large homes, paying attention to all the details that discriminating homeowners will recognize and appreciate. Eric began his career in the construction industry as a laborer/ditch digger in 1973 after nearly 4 years of service in the U.S. Army. His military experience included a one year tour of duty in and around the province of An Khe, Central Highlands, Vietnam, with the 1st Squadron 10th U.S. Cavalry.

Eric became a licensed builder in San Luis Obispo California in 1978, where he worked on many new home and home remodeling projects as a framing and finish carpenter, as well as pouring concrete foundations, until moving to Bend in March 1990, re-establishing his building business in Bend.

Eric has been a hands-on builder and now supervises all phases of the construction process to be sure the quality is reflected in the details. He builds a variety of home styles understanding the history and distinctions of each style. Several subdivisions in West Bend include his homes, such as West Bend Village, Miller Heights and Northwest Crossing.

Eric has a clear and precise understanding of how a house, with its differing structural, mechanical and architectural features is supposed to function efficiently and in harmony. His most recently completed large project is Farmstead 12, a 12 house cluster development of small (under 1200 square feet) farm style homes in Northwest Crossing.
