History of COBA

Chartered in 1972, the Central Oregon Builders Association (COBA) is a 501(C6) not-for-profit founded to help benefit its 700+ member companies in Crook, Deschutes, Grant, Gilliam, Harney, Hood River, Jefferson, Malheur, Sherman, Wasco & Wheeler Counties. Today, builders, subcontractors, suppliers and other related businesses from throughout Central Oregon make up the Association’s diverse membership, and join forces to represent a wide range of industry interests.

The Central Oregon Builders Association is an Independent Builder Association that supports the Oregon Home Builders Association.

COBA has a long history of being one of the most respected trade groups in the state. It offers its members a wide variety of programs and services.

To represent the building industry before government and the community, to promote high ethical standards within the building industry, to provide service to its membership and to defend the opportunities of home ownership for all.
