DUCHATEAU was founded in 2007 when we were the first to bring wide-plank matte-finish flooring to the US market, creating a new market segment in the process.

From the beginning, we have been driven by our passion for design and guided by our spirit of continuous innovation.  We travel the world and find inspiration from amazing destinations.

We look to the worlds of architecture, design, and fashion as inspirations, and combine those with our reverence for beautiful, natural elements.  We continue to innovate and expand our offerings within and beyond flooring and wall coverings, as well as products for interior designers, architects, and builders like our cabinetry, doors, closets, and vanities—we represent the best kitchen, appliance, outdoor, and furniture brands as well.  We are honored to see our products installed in homes, restaurants, hotels and offices, and we are proud to work with respected companies worldwide, including the Hotel Del Coronado, Four Seasons Residences, Whole Foods, Starbucks, Saks Fifth Avenue, Augusta National Golf Club, and Ian Schrager Hotels.
