Bend Area Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to providing affordable homeownership and home repair services for low income families and individuals in Bend and surrounding areas. Over the past 29 years, Bend Area Habitat has built 123 homes and repaired 70 more, providing more than 600 children and adults with safe, secure and healthy homes.

- Since in 1989, Bend Area Habitat for Humanity has sustained an ever-increasing impact on the community as a whole.
- 126 homes have been built and more than 100 repaired.
- Habitat homeowners have paid over $2 million in property taxes.
- Habitat has spent more than $10 million to build, renovate, and repair homes.
- The direct economic impact of our building activity in this community exceeds $33.6 million.
- The total assessed value of our investment in this community exceeds $235.2 million.
- Served more than 800 children and adults through home ownership, home repair, and weatherization.
- Two-thirds of the families served are single mothers
- Six Veteran families have been housed
- Volunteers donated over 70,000 hours with Bend Area Habitat from 2015 through 2016!
